RACINE — Two boys who were skateboarding near the intersection of Taylor and Washington avenues reportedly were stuck by a car Dec. 28.
Henry Wilson, who is 51, was charged with one count of hit-and-run involving great bodily harm; one count of hit-and-run involving injury; one count of resisting or obstructing an officer; and six counts of felony bail jumping.
The most serious penalty is for the charge of hit-and-run involving great bodily injury. If convicted, Wilson could be sentenced to up to 15 years in prison, fined $50,000, or both.
According to online records, Wilson's cash bond was set at $7,500 Dec. 30. He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Jan. 8.
Allegations
According to the criminal complaint, a Racine police officer arrived at the scene and saw a "juvenile male" lying in the intersection.

The boy was being treated by paramedics and reportedly suffered a broken leg.
Another boy reportedly said that he and his friend were skateboarding in the bike lane when a car struck his hand and struck his friend, carrying him about 50 feet, according to the complaint.
Police recovered a license plate number from a front grill found at the scene and tracked it to an address in the 1800 block of Douglas Avenue, where they reportedly found found a car partially hidden under a tarp and missing its front grill.
Surveillance video from a nearby business allegedly shows Wilson operating the car about five minutes before the crash, according to the complaint.
However, Wilson reportedly denied driving the car at the time of the crash.
