RACINE — Kaleb Paradise, who was accused of multiple counts of child sexual assault, accepted a plea offer during a hearing Tuesday at Racine County Circuit Court.
Paradise, who is 22, had pleaded not guilty during a June 5 arraignment to four counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child; two counts of intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child; one count of driving or operating a vehicle without the owner’s consent; and one count of THC possession.
He pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree sexual assault of a child, and the remaining charges were dismissed, but read into the court’s record.
Paradise is scheduled to appear for a bail/bond hearing Jan. 6, and a sentencing hearing Feb. 7.

Previous Journal Times reports indicate that police initiated a traffic stop near Six Mile and Nicholson roads in Caledonia on May 6.

Paradise was identified as the driver and a 14-year-old girl who had been reported as a missing juvenile was a passenger in the car, which had been reported as stolen by Paradise’s grandmother.
Law enforcement personnel conducting the traffic stop reported were informed by a dispatcher that Paradise told Cudahy law enforcement on April 21 that he had had sexual relationships with two 14-year-old girls.
On girl was interviewed May 9 and reportedly told police that her relationship with Paradise began in January and included sexual encounters. Paradise also allegedly gave the girl LSD and cocaine.
Paradise’s girlfriend, who is 21, reportedly told police that Paradise had relationships with four girls between the ages of 14 and 15 while at his aunt’s house in Racine.
