RACINE — A man was arrested after police found items that reportedly tested positive for cocaine during a search of his home.
Robert Askew was charged with one count of possession with intent to deliver cocaine in an amount greater than 40 grams; possession with intent to deliver psilocin or psilocybin in an amount less than 100 grams; and one count of maintaining a drug trafficking place.
Each charge is a felony, and if convicted of all three, Askew could spend up to 53 years in prison, be fined up to $135,000, or a combination of both.
Racine County Circuit Court set Askew's cash bond at $25,000 on Dec. 19. He is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing Dec. 26.
Allegations
According to a criminal complaint, a search warrant was executed at Askew's home Dec. 17.

During the search, investigators reportedly found 113.4 grams of substances that tested positive for cocaine, 3.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, a kilogram press believed to be used for pressing loose cocaine into "bricks" for distribution, a handgun and $5,000.
